Everything goes smoother with a plan

When you know what you need (a new website or sales page), but figuring out the messaging and structure isn't your area of expertise...

You need someone to take what's in your head and turn it into something concrete: the copy and structure you can hand off to your designer (or build yourself).

A wireframe does exactly that. You get the words, the layout, and the input you need to make strategic decisions - so you can move forward fast.

What a wireframe is (and how it works)

A content wireframe is a blueprint or skeleton for your website: the copy and structure all mapped out, but no images or visual distractions. That way, we can focus on the words and functionality.

And while the result (your website copy all ready to go) is worth it in itself, the process gives extra value: together, we sort through the information and answer questions that will inform your build, functions, and digital marketing strategy.

Why every project needs a wireframe

  • Validate before you invest

Make informed decisions from the start: know which platform fits your needs, map out the site structure, set a budget and consider functionality.

  • Get your story straight

I use the Storybrand framework to identify the main elements of your messaging. I’ll write foundational copy that you can use for your website, emails, elevator pitch, and campaigns.

  • Avoid expensive do-overs

With the copy and structure locked in, the design and development phase becomes straightforward. No mid-project rewrites, no costly overhaul six months after launch.

Start your project the right way

I'm Sandrine, and I've been doing this long enough to know that the wireframing stage is where most website projects either come together or fall apart.

When clients skip this step and jump straight to design, they almost always end up spending more time and money fixing things later. But when we take the time to get the messaging and structure right first, the rest of the project flows smoothly.

Great copy in the wrong place doesn't convert. A gorgeous design with a messy structure doesn't work. Words, placement, UX design (user experience), customer journey - together, we get the basics in place so the rest of your projects becomes a breeze.

The process, step by step

  1. After our discovery call, I review your existing content and marketing materials, do research as needed, and we hop on a call to fill in the gaps.

  2. I map out your content, then we have a second call to walk through the wireframe draft and make sure I’m on the right track.

  3. I implement your feedback and share the wireframe with you through a dedicated feedback tool, so you can review it in detail.

  4. Once you’re 100% happy with the result, you can either share the wireframe with your designer - or I can help you turn it into a fully functional Squarespace website.

Q&A

  • This works well if you're planning to build the website yourself or if you already have a designer in mind (or in-house). You should have a decent handle on the basics of your business - what you offer, who you're serving, what makes you different.

If you're still figuring those things out, we can work on that first, or I can refer you to someone who can help with that piece.

  • If the full wireframe process doesn't fit your timeline or budget, I offer faster and more budget-friendly alternatives.

Please get in touch (or schedule a call) to discuss how it can work for you.

  • Your wireframe is built on Squarespace. You don’t need a Squarespace account to view it - the wireframe works like a regular website, just password-protected.

If you’re building your website elsewhere (e.g. on WordPress or Kajabi), you can simply share the link with your designer or developer, who can copy-paste the text into their own design.

It’s also straightforward to turn the wireframe into a fully functional Squarespace website; I can do it for you, or share instructions so you or your team can handle it.

You don't have to decide right away. As long as the wireframe is still accessible, you can come back to me anytime with that request.

  • I can’t build your dream website without your input and regular feedback.

    1. In the prep stage, we have one or two calls and I will ask you for information, brand assets, and other existing materials. I can provide you with prompts and checklists and if you’re not a writer, you can provide most information in audio or video format.

    2. In the development stage, I need timely feedback on the pages and content. We will discuss the details and timeline during the roadmap stage; the faster you’re able to provide me with feedback, the more budget-friendly the project can be.

    3. In the final stage, you will have a chance to review and approve each individual page and functionality before we publish the site.

    4. After launching, I will share instructions and guidelines - so you and your team can confidently take it from there.

For a small website project with a limited number of pages, your time investment can be minimal (usually 3 calls + a couple of hours throughout the week to provide us with feedback).

Either way, we will discuss the details and timeline during the roadmap stage.

  • We walk through the page or website together on a video call; after that call, I implement your feedback and send you the link so you can provide me with additional requests if needed.

You get an unlimited number of revisions during a limited amount of time, to keep the price affordable and the momentum going.

Most clients don’t need more than a couple of days to finalise the copy, after which we usually have a short call to wrap up the project and make sure you can take it from there.

The wireframe is available for 6 months - but if you need access for a longer period of time, please request an extension before the end of those 6 months.

If you need changes later, I'm available for additional revisions anytime.
