Squarespace website for an equine coach

Service: Squarespace website for a new business (30-day project)

Timeline: Winter 2022–2023
Goal: Creating an evergreen online presence for a new business
Team: Sandrine (main) + Olga (branding)
The challenge
The solution: ready to launch and built to last
Geneviève had been a kindergarten teacher for over 20 years. She loved kids, she loved animals, and after decades in the classroom, she was ready to start something new. She trained to become an equine coach, working with small children and ponies together in a therapeutic setting.
She came to us with nothing but her skills and her ponies: no website, no branding, no social media presence. With Easter holiday camps coming up, she needed a complete online presence built quickly so parents could find her services and book their children into her programmes. But she didn't know where to start, and as someone who'd be spending her days in the paddock rather than at a computer, she needed everything to be super simple to maintain once set up.
Parents needed clear information and easy next steps; Geneviève needed a maintenance-free setup that she could leave alone for months and easily update without calling for help.
So we set out to build a website with:
Focus on the equine therapy services
Clear text and imagery to help parents understand what pony coaching involves
A dedicated page with a booking form and payments for the day camps
Integration with social media accounts, which we set up for her as well
All set up on Squarespace – no maintenance required, and a backend that’s easy to manage.
The process, step by step
The result: live signups and long-term usability
The website launched just in time to promote the Easter day camps, which meant we could test everything right away. Bookings came in, the form and payment process worked exactly as planned, and the feedback was all positive.
Geneviève was happy with how the site looked and how clearly it laid out the information. She also tackled the challenge of launching new social media accounts with enthusiasm – posting regularly and building a small but steady following.
The site is designed to last. It doesn’t require ongoing maintenance, and updating things like camp dates only takes a couple of quick edits. The rest just stays up and running, exactly as it should.
What’s next?
More than two years in, the website continues to do exactly what it was built to do – give Horse Vibes a warm but professional online presence that supports the business without adding extra work.
They’re still happy with how it looks and how it works. Every now and then, I get a quick message with a question or small tweak. And when I’m in Belgium, I sometimes get to stop by and visit the ponies – they’re the friendliest ponies I’ve ever met, and it’s always lovely to see how well everything is going.
