WordPress website for a podcaster and leadership expert

Case Study

WordPress website for a podcaster and leadership expert

Dawn is a business strategist and leadership expert, and after years of working with CEOs and founders, in the entertainment industry (which she still does) she's on a mission to get more women in leadership positions.

She runs a yearly leadership training called the Female Leadership Accelerator, she speaks at conferences and summits about how women can claim their rightful place at the table, and when we started talking about this project, she had just launched her podcast... and wasn't sure how to set it all up.

So first, I helped her figure out her messaging. Using the Storybrand (Marketing Made Simple) framework, we identified what her brand is all about and put it into words. We wrote copy for her website, created a brand guide for her team to use, and created a document with "foundational copy" that she's be able to use and repurpose over and over again, to keep her message clear and concise.

Then, Mellissa at Mean Creative came in to build the website. In a matter of weeks, we went from having a bunch of random pages on LeadPages, Squarespace and an old WordPress website, to a stunning-yet-functional website in WordPress.

While Mellissa was working on the website in WordPress, Emily recreated Dawn's landing pages on LeadPages (where Dawn and her team have people sign up for downloadables, events, etc) and created, checked and fixed all necessary email funnels in ActiveCampaign.

Laurel created some of Dawn's existing imagery so we could turn it into social templates in Canva, new covers for the ebooks, and more visuals.

The website was built on the Divi theme and integrates perfectly with LeadPages, Buzzsprout, Spotify, and other platforms relevant for the podcast.

While we do not have a testimonial from Dawn yet at this time, we'll let the website talk for itself: check it out here
